Grand finale for youth festival

THE curtain came down on the 2009 Aberdeen International Youth Festival with the popular International Variety Gala sponsored by Shell UK and BP Exploration.
Sponsors and supporters of the festival gathered before the show at the Foyer in His Majesty’s Theatre for a reception to recognise the success of this year’s event.
The gala showcased the best of this year’s festival, with performances from Uganda’s Nathan Zaake, Toronto All Stars Steel Orchestra and Portugal’s Pequenos Violinos da Metropolitana.
