Rita Brown – Energy Voice Editor email@example.com
Rita Brown is an award-winning journalist and editor. Originally from sunny California, she studied in America before moving to Aberdeen and starting work at an evening paper, securing exclusive content and building a network of contacts.
She worked her way up to a senior reporter and was later named the publication’s content editor. Rita then transitioned into PR, where she managed B2B activity on behalf of a range of oil and gas clients. During that time, she also delivered media training and provided emergency response support.
Rita joined Energy Voice as editor in March 2014 and is responsible for the digital platform’s editorial team and scope. She also works closely with the marketing, wider digital and commercial departments on enhancing and protecting the brand’s integrity.
Debbie Bruce – Energy Business Development Manager
Debbie joined Aberdeen Journals in 1992 and throughout this time has increased her expertise by developing opportunities across all sectors of the advertising Department.
In 2001 The Press and Journal launched Energy, Debbie has played a major part of its success since its conception working closely, not only with developing the Oil and Gas Clients but providing the close link with the editorial department needed for the complete marketing package.
Debbie’s experience provides the” Expert” advice needed to plan effective bespoke advertising campaigns which create maximum exposure across all digital and print formats.

Mike Dee – Digital Advertising Manager
Mike started his media career at Centaur Media PLC in London in 2004 and worked on the leading B2B titles Employee Benefits, Finance Week and The Lawyer before moving into the digital world in 2006 at Incisive Media. Mike spent five years working across the B2B IT brands and in 2011 Mike took over commercial responsibility for BusinessGreen.com
In 2012 Mike moved into live media and took over responsibility for key accounts at the Bett Show, the world’s largest education and learning technology event before moving to North East of Scotland with his wife and daughter in May 2014 to take up the position of digital advertising manager.
