
The offices of an Aberdeen-based oil company have been vandalised through the night.
Red paint has been thrown over the front of the Dana Petroleum building in the city centre.
The incident took place shortly after 2 am on Thursday at the Summer Street entrance of the building.
Photos taken at the scene show red paint covering the exterior of the King’s Close building.
The paint has been thrown over the bricks and windows, as well as a security camera near the entrance.
Police were still in attendance at around midday as their inquiries into the incident continued.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We received a report of vandalism at a premises on Huntly Street, Aberdeen at around 2.15am on Thursday, July 3.
“Inquiries are ongoing.”
An exploration and production company, Dana Petroleum is a wholly owned subsidiary of the South Korean state-owned Korea National Oil Corporation.
The firm operates three fields in UK waters, Tolmount, Triton and Western Isles.
Dana Petroleum has been contacted for comment.
