First Integrated Solutions has formed a strategic partnership with Norwegian firm GS Oiltools.
The move will see both companies cooperating on lifting and inspection operations as well as ATEX rated heaters, lighting systems and hydraulic tool supply.
The company said it also has ambitious development plans for entering new overseas markets this year including West Africa, the Middle East and Asia Pacific regional expansion on the back of the agreement.
Steven Mearns, managing director of First Integrated said: “We recognised the need to diversify into new areas and new products with the market conditions as they are in order to meet our growth plans, and we see this partnership with GS Oil Tools as a key strategic move for us.
“We have been delighted by the very positive response we have had from the Norwegian market for our products and services”.
GS Oiltools was founded in January 2011 and specialises in sales, rental and maintenance operations for drilling and well interventions.
Stian Krag, managing director of GS Oil Tools, added: “GS Oil Tools are delighted to be key partner in the expansion of First Integrated, and their specialist Wire Rope Product range and Equipment Rental offerings are something the Norway market has been looking for.
“With our vast range of contacts and experience we see this partnership as mutually beneficial and in a very positive light”.
