Drillmar Resources, in partnership with training and competency experts Polaris Learning, has developed a new bespoke competency management system for its workforce.
Through its cloud-based Progress software, Polaris Learning will deliver the upgraded platform enabling Drillmar to better assess, document and manage the competency and training of their workforce in accordance with industry standards, as well as client specific requirements.
Relying on Drillmar’s years of industry experience and Polaris Learning’s track record of delivering similar solutions to major oil and gas clients internationally, both organisations have collaborated extensively to develop a system that is robust, digitally accessible and tailor made to the roles and sectors served by Drillmar Resources.
Progress has integrated with and overhauled Drillmar’s existing systems, allowing for easier access and review for personnel, assessors and third parties such as clients or auditors. The desired result being evidence based, measurable and demonstrable competency for all individuals enrolled.
The system will launch in October 2020 and will be managed by Drillmar’s new subsidiary, DrillTrain.
A mainstay of the drilling and well services recruitment industry since 2008, Drillmar Resources has established DrillTrain as its new training division to further expand its service offering, adding value to new and existing contracts.
