Atlus has won a five-year deal with Maersk Oil for its wireline services on the Danish Continental Shelf.
Tor Albert Ersdal, Atlus managing director, said: “This contract is one of the largest wireline contracts in Denmark and one of the larger contracts in the North Sea. The award highlights and strengthens Altus Intervention’s position as the preferred provider of cost-effective well intervention technologies. The combination of our intervention expertise and cutting-edge innovations will ensure that each stage of this large project will be executed with surety and confidence.”
Altus Intervention has previously provided Tractor Conveyance and integrated optimisation solutions to Maersk Oil, but the new contract expands the work scope.
Atlus has a 1,090- strong workforce with operations in Norway, Denmark, UK and West Africa.
