US conglomerate GE is buying Norwegian firm Naxys for an undisclosed sum. The company is a provider of subsea leak detection and condition monitoring sensors based on passive acoustic technology.
GE intends that Naxys becomes a part of its measurement & control business. This deal is also another step towards a stronger GE presence in Norway. Headquartered in Bergen, Norway, Naxys employs 31 people.
