Oil and gas operator RWE Dea said yesterday it expected operating profits to remain static this year because of rising investment.
The firm said profits would remain at around the £586million recorded last year as it expects to increase investment to £770million from £563million.
RWE Dea’s parent, German utility RWE, is currently trying to sell the business to help cut its £28billion debts.
