Subsea 7 has landed an engineering contract on the Heidelberg development in the Gulf of Mexico by US firm Anadarko.
The contract will see Subsea 7 working on engineering, fabricationa nd installation of risers, pipelines and flowlines in water depths of over 1600metres.
Project management will start at the firm’s Houston offices immediately, with offshore operations due to get under way in late 2014.
Pipelay activities will be performed by the Seven Borealis.
