Energy technology group Cortez Subsea has landed a six-figure deal to provide inspection services for BHP Billiton off Trinidad and Tobago.
An eight-person team from the firm’s Aberdeen base will head to the region this summer to inspect six offshore platforms across the Greater Angostura field.
“We are extremely pleased to be awarded this contract with BHP Billiton,” said Cortez managing director Alasdair Cowie.
“By increasing our capabilities across asset inspection software over the past year, we are now reaping the rewards with significant business opportunities.
