Morocco-focused Tangiers Petroleum has appointed a former Woodside Petroleum analyst to its board.
David Wall becomes Tangiers’ managing director ‘with immediate effect’ after six and a half years as an Africa-focused oil and gas equity analyst at the Australian major.
Prior to that he was a manager at Woodside responsible for vetting reports on the company’s upstream and downstream operations and generating the firm’s annual budget.
Wall takes over day-to-day running of Tangiers after executive chairman Eve Howell quit the group February.
