An evaluation is underway after a technical glitch at a gas compressor in Russia.
The incident happened earlier this week at Sakhalin-2, the country’s sole liquefied natural gas production plant.
The plant, which is said to be producing more than 10millon tonnes of LNG a year, was evaluating the impact of the accident on production and exports.
A spokeswoman said: “We are doing everything possible to minimise the consequences of the glitch on the schedule of loadings.”
