Analysts at Rystad Energy believe Southeast Asia could become the largest floating solar photovoltaic (PV) market in the world with several significant projects planned this decade.
Singaporeโs Sunseap is planning a $2 billion floating solar project on a reservoir in Indonesiaโs Batam Island. If successful it will be the worldโs largest to date and electricity could be exported via undersea cable to the nearby island city state of Singapore.
