A major study to be carried out to assess the risk of seabird collision with Scotland’s offshore wind farms.

Plans for the “world’s largest” floating wind project off the coast of Aberdeenshire have been delayed for more than six months due to the impact of the Covid-19 lockdown, bosses have confirmed.
When developer ERM decided Aberdeen would be the home for Dolphyn, its world-first floating green hydrogen project, it said “it will put Aberdeen on the map”.
Aberdeen has been selected as the home for the “world’s first” offshore floating facility to produce green hydrogen.
