The decision by the French company EDF to award London-based InfraStrata a contract for eight of the 56 foundation jackets for the NnG offshore wind farm has got a lot of people extremely excited.


Without technology there is no net zero

It is a fact of life that if you want to achieve net zero you need the technology that can make it happen. You can play around with what you think are smart economic wheezes such as contracts for difference and carbon tax but if you don’t have the technology to enable you to stop burning hydrocarbons then ultimately, they’re of no benefit whatsoever.


ScottishPower loses 160,000 customers

The owner of energy giant ScottishPower has revealed UK generation and supply earnings slumped by more than a fifth after it lost around 160,000 customers in a “challenging” year.
